Welcome to the HandleBar Toledo Holiday Trolley Information Page! 

The HandleBar Toledo Holiday Trolley is a Pop-Up Concept offering seats on a 2 hour trolley tour of downtown Toledo and surrounding area holiday lights (with a few bar and photo stops mixed in) on weekends during the holiday season in 2021.  Each trolley can hold up to 26 riders!

The Holiday Trolley will have tours that start at 530pm, 6pm, 730pm, 8pm, 930pm, and 10pm on the following dates in 2021:  11/26, 11/27, 12/3, 12/4, 12/10, 12/11, 12/17 and 12/18.

Seats on the trolley go ON SALE on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at 2pm EST (or, potentially, 7pm on Tuesday Nov 2).  Tickets will be available for purchase by clicking book now at handlebartoledo.com/booktour/

Deets about the Holiday Trolley Tour:

Bring your closest friends and family and join us on an old town festive trolley, decked out with holiday decor and spirit!  The tour itself lasts about 2 hours and includes stops at a few festive bars (bar stops to be announced later), and a stops at Promenade Park and Hensville in downtown Toledo to see the lights, tree, and grab some pics!

Your friendly Bar Handlers from The HandleBar Toledo will once again be leading the party, taking photos for you, and providing the HOLIDAY JAMS (we have a holiday trolley playlist you won’t want to miss) so all you have to do is show up in your party pants and favorite holiday sweater or costume, ready to enjoy the holiday fun with your family and friends.  As a bonus, Santa and his friends dropped us off some gifts that will be awarded to the most festive rider on each trolley!

Pricing:  $34.99 per seat.  There are 26 seats on each trolley.  Tickets are sold on a per seat basis.  Real time availability can be viewed by clicking book now at handlebartoledo.com/booktour/ (once the listing GOES LIVE)

Start Location (IMPORTANT – NOT AT THE HANDLEBAR GARAGE):  The trolley starts and stops each tour at the Attic on Adams (1701 Adams St).  Ample parking available.  Please arrive at least 30 minutes early – the Trolley will be leaving AT the start time booked.  You will check in with us INSIDE the bar, at the top of the stairs (you won’t be able to miss us 🙂 ).

Drinks Policy:  All trolley riders must be 21 years of age or older.  Limited BYOB (no glass containers, no hard liquor) is allowed as long as the following BYOB rules are followed:

  1. No bringing drinks or coolers into any bar – no exceptions.  The bars are welcoming us with open arms, let’s keep it that way.  Drinks and coolers are allowed ON THE TROLLEY ONLY.
  2. Some of our stops will be in outdoor container (DORA) districts.  In the case where we are in a DORA district, you may purchase a drink at the bar, and bring your drink back from the bar to the trolley in a designated plastic container.  Our tour guides will make sure the policy is clear depending on the location of the stop.
  3. No glass containers and no hard liquor allowed on board the trolley.
  4. We will be making bar stops, and the bars will be decked out with holiday fun and will be offering drink specials themselves.  Please do not bring more than 3 drinks per person for this reason, and consider grabbing a drink at each bar to help support an industry that has had a challenging few years.

Holiday Trolley Cancellation Policy (note, this is different than the HandleBar party bike cancellation policy)

Each group can move their tour date (pending availability) or cancel their tour up to 2 weeks in advance. Moving your tour date is completely free and can be done by emailing us at info@handlebartoledo.com.

Sorry! There are no refunds, rain checks, or reschedules for tours cancelled less than 14 days out!  This means, for example, that if your tour is scheduled for December 18, you have until December 4 to cancel the tour.

Holiday Trolley Payment Options

All Holiday Trolley tours must be paid in full with a credit card online at the time of booking.

Credit card options include: Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express.

DISCLAIMER: Inappropriate behavior (as determined at the sole discretion of your trusted Tour Guide) will result in the offending passenger(s) being asked to disembark immediately. No refund will be issued to passenger(s) asked to disembark. Passengers will be responsible for their own transportation from point of disembarking.

I assume all risks associated with my use of the HandleBar Toledo Holiday Trolley as well as all risk of loss, theft or damage of personal property while using or present on the Holiday Trolley or at the establishments/locations where the tour may visit or at any other time and any other location before, during and after the tour. I will not bring any action against Handlebar Toledo LLC, its employees, owners, successors and/or assigns, for personal injury, property loss, or property damage, including any action for negligence, breach of warranty, products liability or strict liability, and hereby forever waive, on my own behalf and on behalf of my successors and/or assigns, the right to bring such action.
